Green Watt Power, a division of Powerland Technology, Inc. announces the EVD3000 Series of fully encapsulated, ruggedized DC/DC converters for Electric Vehicle applications. The EVD3000 has a very high and ultra-wide input range from 280 to 880V with output voltages of either 27.5Vdc or 48Vdc to power auxiliary EV functions such as air conditioning, lights, instruments, accessories, etc. or to act as a distribution voltage for subsystems.
The EVD3000 is fully isolated input to output and protected by Over Voltage Protection, Short Circuit Protection, Input Reverse Polarity Protection and Over Temperature Protection.
Efficiencies for the EVD3000 run as high as 96% and the unit features a metal baseplate for excellent heat transfer to a metal mounting surface. Customers can choose either the IP67 or IP54 models for protection against water intrusion. The EVD3000 provides a cost-effective solution for higher power requirements. All models feature Remote ON/OFF and are ROHS compliant.
Line and Load Regulation for the EVD3000 is +/-1%. Output Ripple and Noise is 500mV peak to peak typical. The working temperature range of the EVD3000 is -40 to +850C. The case size is 260x180x62mm. The EVD3000 weight is 3.5kg and designed to meet IEC, UL, and CSA requirements with EMC Emission: EN12895, EN55022; EMC Immunity: EN12895, and ESD: EN12895 (±4KV Contact, ±15KV Air).
