September 11, 2025. Green Watt Power, a division of Powerland Technology, Inc. announces four new base models to their Diamond Series of ruggedized, waterproof, fully potted AC chargers, ranging from 650W to 1000W. These Diamond Series models have universal AC input with 4 output ranges covering 15 to 86V and support charging of Lithium Ion and lead-acid batteries. They are designed for Electric Vehicle (EV) applications in Material Handling Equipment / E- Mobility Robots, Warehouse Electric Forklifts, and Port/Airport GSE among many other applications.
All charger models have universal input range of 90-264VAC and can handle standard wall outlet voltages with a frequency range of 45 to 65Hz for use across the globe. It includes high Power Factor Correction (PFC) of 0.98 typical. The output charging nominal battery voltage (range) model for 24V battery (15-29.4V) @ 25A. Models for 48V battery (27-54.6V) @ 11A; or (28-58.8V) @ 18A. Model for 72V battery (43-86V) @ 12A.
Status indication is via colored LED indicator and control of the charger is via CAN communication. The units have a full set of self-protection features including OVP, OCP, SCP, OTP, RPP, and UVLO. The turn-on delay at full load is 5s max. The case temperature range is -40 to +80oC (+60oC with handle) and the storage range is -40 to +85oC.
The Diamond Series ultra-flexible design comes in On-Board and Off-Board versions, with or without a handle, and in connector versions or flying lead versions. The units are designed for high-power density and thermal efficiency and include a no fan convection cooled 650W model. The other 750W and 1000W versions have a fan in the design that turns on when needed at elevated temperatures.
A compact mechanical design with water resistant IP65 to IP67 waterproof rating in compact mechanical package with or without handle. Weighing only 3 to 4kg depending on the model. If needed, Green Watt Power can modify models to meet unique requirements in applications, as needed. If special connector versions are needed, that also can be addressed based on need.
