Green Watt Power, a division of Powerland Technology, Inc. announces the EVD200 Series of fully encapsulated, ruggedized DC/DC converters for Electric Vehicle applications. The EVD200 has a very wide input range from 40Vdc to 90Vdc with output voltages of 13.8Vdc power auxiliary EV functions such as lights, instruments, accessories, etc., or to act as a distribution voltage for subsystems.
The EVD200 is protected by Over Voltage Protection, Short Circuit Protection, Input Reverse Polarity Protection and Over Temperature Protection.
Efficiencies for the EVD200 run as high as 89.5% and the unit features a metal baseplate for excellent heat transfer to a metal mounting surface. The IP65 rated product provides protection against water intrusion and offers a very cost-effective solution for low-power requirements with Remote ON/OFF and are ROHS compliant.
Output Ripple and Noise is 500mV peak to peak typical. The working temperature range of the EVD200 is -20 to +600C. The case size is 100.0mm x 90.0mm x27.0mm (3.937” × 3.543” × 1.063”) with a weight of only 450g.
