Feb. 08, 2024. Green Watt Power, a division of Powerland Technology Inc., announces the EVD300 Watt DC/DC converters as extensions of the successful Marble™ Series. The fully encapsulated, IP67 class ruggedized DC/DC converters are designed for Electric Vehicle applications having two DC input ranges covering 30-130V, with output voltages for 12V and 24V batteries used to power auxiliary EV functions such as lights, instruments, accessories, and similar. In addition, unlike most DC/DC converters in the EV market, the Marble™ Series has a constant current function, so it can connect directly to a battery load. Additional features include Enable/Remote on/off, superior low battery conservation with a Quiescent Current draw of less than 30uA and IP67 ingress protection.
The EVD300 Marble™ Series is fully input-to-output isolated and protected by, Input Under Volage Lockout, Reverse Polarity, Over Voltage, Short Circuit and Over Temperature Protection. Two options are offered for connecting the DC/DC converter, either via flying leads or via standard Molex connector.
