April 22, 2024. Green Watt Power, a division of Powerland Technology, Inc. announces eight new models to their Diamond Series of ruggedized, fully potted AC chargers, now ranging from 750W to 1800W. The EVC1000 Diamond Series has universal AC input and supports charging of 72V and 48V Lithium Ion batteries in Electric Vehicle (EV) applications, such as material handling, motorcycles, scooters, forklifts, golf and e-carts, and recreational vehicles.
This 1kW charger with a universal input range of 90-264VAC, can handle standard wall outlet voltages with a frequency range of 47 to 63Hz across the globe. It includes a typical Power Factor Correction (PFC) of 0.98. Two output voltages ranging from 28-58.8V@18A and 43-86V@12A boost ultra-high efficiencies of up to 92%.
Status indication and control of the charger is via CAN communication and colored LED indicator. The units have a full set of self-protection features including OVP, OCP, SCP, OTP, RPP, and UVLO. The turn-on delay at full load is 5s max.
The case temperature range is -40 to +80oC (+60oC with handle) and the storage range is -40 to +85oC. The EVC1000 is designed to meet UL/CSA62368 and EN60335 safety standards.
The Diamond Series ultra-flexible design comes in On-Board and Off-Board versions, with or without a handle, and in connector versions or flying lead versions. The units are designed for high-power density and thermal efficiency and include a fan, that turns on at elevated temperatures.
A compact mechanical design with an IP67 waterproof rating measures only 251x137x80mm (9.9×5.4×3.15in) excluding the handle. Its weight is only 3.8kg (8.4lbs). If needed, Green Watt Power can modify the unit as needed to meet each application’s unique requirements.
Units are available from stock to 8 weeks. For more information, please contact Green Watt/Powerland North America at 1-310-881-3890 or [email protected].
