Green Watt Power, a division of Powerland Technology, Inc. announces the 650W Sapphire™ universal Li-ion battery on-board and off-board chargers Series (EVC-650), designed with ultra-high efficiency in a waterproof metal case enclosure. The extraordinary performance of low power dissipation directly results in higher reliability and longer lifetime of the charger. This series of chargers offers solid and safe power conversions with constant current and constant voltage output for use in E-vehicles, E-motorcycles, E-boats, E-machines, I-robots, Material Handling Equipment and similar applications.
These models are specifically designed for batteries voltages of 36V, 48V, 60V and 72V with a range of 27~84.3V. The extremely compact overall dimensions are only 7.1 x 4.9 x 3.15” (160 x 125 x 80mm) including the handle for easy portability. The unit is designed for high-power density and thermal efficiency and include a fan and only weighs 6.6lbs. (3kg).
CAN/485 bus communication is a standard feature for unit status and control and the charger has a universal input range of 90 to 264VAC, able to handle wide range standard of worldwide wall power input voltages and frequencies from 47 to 63Hz.
At 220VAC input the typical efficiency is 92% with a Power Factor Correction (PFC) of 0.97 at full 650W output power. The power derates to 450W with 110VAC in. The Turn-on Delay at full load is 3s max. The charger is fully protected against Over-current/Short-circuit, Under/Over Voltage and Over Temperature.
The operating temperature range is -20 to +50ºC and has an IP67 protection degree for the enclosure. The EVC-650 is designed to meet UL1564, EN60335 and CE.
